Satirical Writing for The Golden Seagull

At Marquette University, a group of students created a satirical publication entitled "The Golden Seagull," respectfully poking fun at the lives at Marquette students and college students in general. Essentially, it's the Marquette version of The Onion.

Ad Age Young Creatives Global Cover Competition

My colleague, Samantha Hoeft, and I concepted this cover for Ad Age's Young Creatives Global Cover Competition. While we didn't win the contest, we're still pretty damn proud of our work.

The brief was: "What is Creativity?." To us, creativity is the marriage between the left brain and the right brain — combining ones imagination with logic and reason.

In advertising, this is how we get some of our best campaigns. Using research and strategy (left brain), we determine the parameters to which we use our imagination and creativity (right brain).
